| | Browns 13 @ Packers 31 | |
| | SarahI was convinced we had already played the Browns. Silly Ohio and their whole having two teams thing. |
| | JonIf the Browns QB situation was what it had been, I'd really like their chances. I still think they will win. |
| | Broncos 33 @ Colts 39 | |
| | SarahI'm not sure I could handle watching this game. |
| | JonBroncos have really only played one good team and they gave up a million points. |
| | Vikings 7 @ Giants 23 | |
| | SarahThis one either. |
| | JonYeah, this is exactly how I thought the season would play out. |

| Im surpsied so many picks for the hawks. The cards have been exceptional at home and pummeled a Panthers team that has an offensive playing style similar to the seahawks. I suppose only time will tell if I'm right on this one! | ||

| Didn't see any of the game, but did catch some post game with ex-player analysts on ESPN going on for 10 minutes on why starting Freeman was a horrible decision. And then comparing Peterson to Barry Sanders, in that organizational ineptitude might cause him to retire early. | ||

| Yeah, well, Peterson isn't exactly doing himself any favors either. | ||

| Also, he's had a chance to win the Superbowl in 2009, and he was as responsible for not getting there as anyone else. | ||

| I think Jon Gruden was getting annoyed during last nights game with the ineptitude of the Vikings offense. I counted at least 3 times where he somewhat emphatically said that the Vikings need to put in Christian Ponder. I don't know what the ideal situation would be, but a franchise with the best non-quarterback offensive player in the game that has to hold an in-season quarterback tryout is pretty much the definition of a team in disarray. It can't be a pleasant thing to watch as a fan. I for one just hope that the Vikings continue to not have things figured out come Sunday night, where the Packers, missing 3 of their best receivers and 2 of their best defenders, are 9.5 point favorites on the road against a mostly "full strength" Vikings team. | ||

| However, it doesn't quite seem fair to pile on the Vikings about last night's game. The Giants weren't exactly putting on a football clinic last night either. Aside from a couple of drives, the Giants looks as bad or worse than the Vikings did at various points in the game. Heck, one of the Giants touchdowns came after the untouched vikings punt retuner just fell to the ground and lost the football, with the ball being recovered on the 1 yard line. The Giants weren't much better than the Vikings last night either. | ||

| That was one of two special teams fumbles and moments after the same player dropped a pick 6. Thus is the curse of rooting for the Vikings. You have to watch them fail a number of times and in ways that wouldn't be believable in a movie, while often the game remains in reach virtually the entire time. | ||

Seahawks 34 @ Cardinals 22
Sarah
Insert not really insightful thought here.I couldn't even tell you who the Cardinals quarterback is. A has been perhaps? Aw yep, Carson Palmer.
Jon
I don't think this is an easy one, but I'm not confident enough in the Cardinals to win. Plus, the Seahawks defense is hard to pick against, especially since the Cardinals have question marks on offense.
