Next week, if the Vikings beat the Packers, they play in GB week one of the playoffs. If the Packers lose, the Vikings are out. And Adrian Peterson needs 2008 yards to break the rushing record, but this time he has to do it against Clay Matthews who wasn't playing during the last Packers-Vikings matchup. It turns out that if the Vikings win they are in. If the Vikings win and the 49ers win, then I believe that puts the Vikings at Green Bay for week 1 of the playoffs. If the Packers and 49ers lose, and the seahawks win, the Seahawks are the 2 seed and the packers are still the 3 seed playing the vikings. The vikings can get in even if they lose, but they need the Giants to lose to the eagles and the bears to lose to the Lions. That would put the Packers as the number 2 seed with the win, and the Vikings would play either the 49ers or the seahawks, depending who ends up winning the division.
