Vikings 12 @ Bills 17

Jeremy
So very very close to 3-0. The Vikings suck.
matt.jpg
Matt
I only saw the last quarter and a half of the Vikings last week, but they should have won the game, but they didn't, so they suck.
jon.jpg
Jon
Not sure what to make of the Bills. This game is interesting. The Vikings have the better record, but you wonder if they're good enough to go to Buffalo and win the game.
sarah.jpg
Sarah
Drew Henson! Drew Henson! I think the Vikings have proven that they're not winners. They only won their first two games by whacky plays by ex-winner longwell. The Bills, while not stupendous by any means, should beat the Vikings.

Seahawks 6 @ Bears 37

jeremy.jpg
Jeremy
On the way back from the game my Uncle and I were discussing the possibility that we might dislike Bears fans more than Packer fans right now. The mere fact that this conversation took place says a lot. Go Seahawks. Too bad Mike Holmgren decided Alexanders faith healing might not be good enough to play. THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU!
matt.jpg
Matt
Rex Grossman for MVP!!!
jon.jpg
Jon
Yeah the Bears have seemingly improved from last year. Seattle might be worse. I still think Seattle is the better team.
sarah.jpg
Sarah
Cover down! Cover down! With the Seahawks becoming one dimensional with a 4 WR set, I think the Bears defense should be able to win this one.

Packers 9 @ Eagles 31

jeremy.jpg
Jeremy
I wear the belt around my waist.
matt.jpg
Matt
Favre throws for 3 TDs, but also throws 4 INTs as the Eagles win 44 - 31.
jon.jpg
Jon
I'm not going to mention it. You know what I'm talking about. That play. With the numbers. From a few years ago.
sarah.jpg
Sarah
Why must we always play the Eagles at Philly on Monday night? Could this be any duller? How about they come to our house! Is that something you might be interested in?

This is the third straight year that the Packers have played the eagles in Philly, not counting the playoffs. When is the conspiracy going to end. I mean, this is almost as bad as if a divisional team happened to play a team that just came of a bye for 3 straight seasons.

Anyways, the Packers can't seem to play with the Eagles anymore, but I'm still picking the Packers to win, cuz hey, they are Super Bowl Bound.

I thought I picked the Cardinals to upset the Falcons....I must have subconsciously talked myself out of it, it's probably for the best.

4th and 26th? My dad will bring that up pretty much anytime we're talking about football, regardless of what the current topic actually is.

At some point the Packers just need to win in Philly and then they'll have crazy momentum. If they beat the Eagles at Lambeau, everyone would just say "ya but they still can't win in Philly". Unfortunately this is not the year for victory.

My dad tapes pretty much every packer game dating back to about the 94 or 95 season. Anyway, he still has that tape from that Eagles game and he said he has never watched it since that day.

I just ate a grilled stuffed burrito from Taco Bell, and I'm still quite hungary. What's going on??? Those things are massive, I've never been hungary after eating one of those. Man.

Nope, nothing. Also, Jeremy should have said I'm a little sweden.

Though back to Scott's point, one grilled stuft burrito is about a thousand times more food than it usually takes to make Scott feel full. In fact, just looking at it should have made him full. So his post is fairly interesting in the "Jimmy John's story" kind of way.

sense? Neither does "I've never been Hungary" And because I said "Hungary" instead of Hungarian, you should have said "I'm a little Swedan".

is the Bears/seahawks game already being counted as a Bears win on NutCan, or does the team name turn colors depending on the score? I smell a fix.

What an awful week of picks from me. Just when I was feeling good about my picking ability. Actually I felt good about it a while ago, but anyway this was a good knock down a peg or two.

Also, I'm a little sweden is a play off of I've never been hungary. I'm swedish doesn't play off of anything. It's just a statement. Maybe that's what you were going for.

By the way scott, the wins and losses are "as of now" during the games so it's like it would be if each game ended at that exact moment.

oh, kind of like "if the playoffs started today". That's what I thought. I'm actually starting to root for the Bears to continue to win. It's weird. But I actually want them to do good.
