Vikings 38 @ Saints 31
Jeremy: It will be interesting to see which New Orleans team shows up. McKenzie's hamstring "healed" since being traded and he will take his rightful place this week...once again getting owned by Randy Moss.Matt: First, Onterrio Smith pipped Michael Bennett. Last week, Mewelde Moore pipped Onterrio. This week it's Larry Ned's turn. Daunte Culpepper for MVP!!! Johan Santana for MVP and Cy Young!!! KG for MVP!!! Marian Gaborik for the Hart Memorial (if they play)!!!
Jon: Here's the thing. Well, a thing. I think I've missed about half the Vikings' season so far. Football games put me to sleep. And I don't really enjoy Vikings' games this year anyway. Wake me when they break out their good defense.
Sarah: Is it the Saints who always give the vikings trouble? Maybe I should pick them. Alright, I am officially changing my pick over to the Saints. Hold on a minute. If the Texans can come back from a 21 point deficit, and almost beat the vikings, then the Saints can probably squeak out a win. Yea, that sounds good. Notice I only have picked one away team to win. That's probably not good considering that home teams have been sucking it this year. Oh well. What do Aaron Brooks and Aaron Stecker have in common? Their first names! ha, no really, they have both lived in WI I believe.
Buccaneers 21 @ Rams 28
Jeremy: That was quite the comeback the Rams had last week. Tampa can't get much worse. They scored like 9 points and upped their average the other day.Matt: If this was an NHL game it would be cool cause Martin St. Louis plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning, so it would be St. Louis vs. St. Louis. If the NHL players and owners ever reach a deal, they should make sure it includes some sort of clause that mandates that he plays on the St. Louis Blues. Just like the NFL should make a rule that Jeff Feagles should be the Philadelphia Eagles punter for life.
Jon: Brad Johnson, you just won the Super Bowl, what are you going to do? "I'm going to get demoted to third string because my team is bad." The guy gets no respect...never really has.
Sarah: OOO if only it were 2001 or something. Tampa Bay is on their 3rd string QB and St. Louis is looking to be pretty good. They made quite the comeback last week against the "unstoppable" Seahawks. Maybe Mike Martz isn't as crazy as everyone thinks he is.

Sarah, as for the Javon Walker fantasy argument: 1. Moss has only 4.5 fewer points than Walker, and Moss has had a bye already. 2. My picking Curtis Martin in the 13th round was a much bigger steal. |

I'm 44-30 overall, having gone 7-7 last week. Philly, Cleveland, GREEN FRICKEN BAY, Tenn, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Atlanta, SEATTLE, NY Jets, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, St. Louis. That's right, I picked the Packers...i'll bet no one saw that coming=). I also picked Seattle to "upset" New England(the word upset doesn't fit as well in the NFL as it does in College Football). I picked Minn to Lose on the road, and Atlanta, despite having an average fantasy qb, will improve to 5-1. |

| Yes I was, they're my qbs on two different teams actually. I was thinking harrington because, well, I think we all know why. But Roy Williams is Questionable and SF defense stinks and has injuries in the secondary. Also, the Jets O-line is hurting, so they may have to pass the ball more instead of just feeding Martin. | ||

I don't care how much you like the 'sport' it can't be a good thing to take the afternoon to watch the 'Spongebob Squarepants Movie 300' Also I thought you were just asking who we thought was better between Pennington and Harrington and I chose to not even dignify that with a response. |

| Go with Harrington for the week. He's not a great QB, but I think Williams will play and Joey always does well against the Pack, especially this year he will because we don't have a defense. | ||

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/vita10gy/public_html/page3/newcontent.php on line 195 What is that all about? D- for you. Midnight Madness tonight, yaaaaaaaay. ESPN ranked the Badgers 24. That's a little to low I think, but acceptable. Dicky V has them at 18, although he also has MSU at 5, so he's clearly off his rocker. Or is it that he actually gives love to the Big Ten with Illinois at 12 as well and Michigan at 26? Um..shouldn't you not be cheering for the Home Depot car? |

The error came because Sarah's wireless connection crapped out as she was sending that comment above yours, so it was only half entered and that messed stuff up. Too bad you can't do transactions with mySql. The fact that it's the Home Depot car is exactly WHY I'm cheering for it. |

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7-0 4 sho!!! Take that you dirty clipping Boilermakers. No Heisman for you. That was an incredible 4th quarter. I hope James isn't hurt too bad. Badgers have to go undefeated now. And I'll cheer for Purdue for one day, next Saturday vs Michigan. But there's just something about Orton that I can't stand, however I thank him for the game-winning touchdown. Woop-woop! |

Worst anouncers ever. In fact the production value for this game makes "Locker Room Live" look like "Waterworld". It's Darren Sharper. |

My favorite part was when Favre tackled Green. I think I am being punished for not picking them to win. Every TD has gone to someone other than my fantasy players. But if it took me to pick the lions to win to get the Pack to win, then I am ok with it. And why didn't I pick the Chargers? huh???? |

It's been a while since I've seen a QB turn in a worse performance than Harrington had today. Granted he had no one left, but he had all day to throw and wide open receivers and couldn't hit any of them. The Vikes have an opportunity to take sole possession of first place tonight, which of course means they will lose by 30. |

| I don't want to hear again that Moss doesn't get calls in his favor, because either he should have been called for holding or PI or there should have been no call. That was not defensive pass interference. | ||

| Worst call ever. If that was pass interference it was on Moss. A no call was probably the correct call. Moss has achieved the veteran status and now gets his fair share of bs calls. | ||

| worst call ever? i don't think so, but it was without a doubt the wrong call. You don't have to admit that it was the wrong call, but that still doesn't make it the right one. | ||

Packers 38 @ Lions 10
Jeremy: Wow.....wow......um......yeeee. The only Green Bay game I've been right on was the "obvious" one (The Colts one, which ended up being the 'closest' game) A few more weeks down the road and I might be rooting for the Packers in this situation, but until the packers are 1-14 somehow they are never out of the picture....so go Lions.Matt: As I proclaimed before the season started... The Lions will finish the year 2nd in the NFC North behind the Vikings. I originally gave 3rd to the Packers over the Bears, now I'm changing it...
1. Vikings
2. Lions
3. Bears
4. Packers
Jon: Not picking the packers felt good last week. They could win this week but it's like I got a free point last week.
Sarah: That's right, look take a second glance. I picked Detroit. Think about it though. We're playing in Detroit. We always lose there. And oh yea, we suck. The Packers are 1-freakin' 4! That is just unacceptable. How do you lose to a 1-3 team on your home turf on a Monday night? Where's your spirit? I didn't see anyone riled up really. No one cares anymore. Then to actually see fans leaving early, that was upsetting. The players and coaches need to think of a game plan fast because this is just disgraceful. What is wrong in Title Town? All Packer fans should root for the Lions to win the division, that's all I gotta say. The Packers have looked horrible on both sides of the football, from every aspect. The only shining light has been Javon Walker, who I got for hella deal in the 5th round of our draft. And people laughed at me. Well now who's laughing suckas! He's got more fantasy points than Moss or Harrison or probably any reciever for that matter. I didn't want Favre to go down like this, this was my worst nightmare. I don't want his image tainted, I don't want people saying we should put Nall in. (although i may have let that slip once or twice during the MNF game) It's just not fair. Oh yea, and school is really starting to suck. Like big time. All you alums are pretty lucky people. I can't wait to be one.
