Packers 31 @ Colts 45
Jeremy: When Green Bay comes to town you know you're gonna be without one of your stars, this week it's Edge. Don't be surpised when Harrison breaks a finger friday and Manning is out by halftime.Matt: I think it's safe to say that Edge is the greatest Irish running back of all time. Colts win 43 - 12.
Jon: Probably no Edge for this one. You ever eat that Pizza from Pizza Hut called the Edge? It's good stuff. And I like crust, but that pizza has some good stuff on it. This game doesn't look promising for the Packers, but you never know...well sometimes you know, like after the game, but even then they could go back and change the score, I guess.
Sarah: Like I was telling Matt and Jon today at lunch. It will not bum me out if the Packers lose this game. The Colts are a high scoring AFC team playing their home opener. They may possibly be a better team then us. However, that doesn't mean I won't pick my boys. Heck, we could even win this game. I am however, disappointed that I won't get to watch this game as someone I know is having a baby shower at this time. Who schedules stuff like that during the football season on a Sunday afternoon? I don't understand. I look to see Ahman Green have a big game. I also don't blame him for his fumble, as the ball was visciously stripped from him. I do blame Brian Urlacher for not getting called with an illegal block to the back on Favre on that play though. Packers 35 Colts 28
Buccaneers 20 @ Raiders 30
Jeremy: Blah Blah blah Warren Sapp blah Gruden blah blah blah blah Tim Brown.Matt: Is there a more overrated coach than Jon Gruden? Oakland by 12.
Jon: Is it an obligation that I refer to the fact taht these teams were in the Super Bowl two seasons ago? Well, now that that is done, I'll tell you this: Brad Johnson gets no respect! Still, Oakland is better I think.
Sarah: Possibly the worst Super Bowl ever. Watch Jerry Rice begin his streak again. I am predicting he'll be able to break it. um no. Two teams that are so-so. Should be just as great as the last Sunday night game. TB 3 Oakland 6
Cowboys 21 @ Redskins 18
Jeremy: Woo hoo, Cowboys and Indians. At least this one's not on Thanksgiving. Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells Gibbs Parcells...getting old? It will be soon.Matt: I should really start my homework now, so I'll just say the Potatos win 23 - 20.
Jon: Dallas has put up some pretty big offensive numbers this year, but is it because they've played bad defenses? Washington got beat by the Giants last week so I think the Cowboys will do the same kind of thing this week, maybe better.
Sarah: Woo a big rivalry with some old school coaches. Sign me up! Nah. I still don't understand how the Redskins only lost by 6 points last week and yet had 7 turnovers. The Giants must just be that bad. We get to play them next week. :) The Cowboys didn't look that great last week, so they have to start turning things around if they want to get into the playoffs again this year. I'm kidding, it's only week 3. Why do teams already have byes? I think that hurts some teams. I like the fact that the Packers usually have their byes right in the middle of the season. We have ours right before we play the Vikings this year. Muahahahah

| According to almost everything I've read so far, the matchups in the Packers-Colts game tend to favor the Packers. A strong offensive line that shows no signs of weakening is the key to the offense. If James is indeed out, the Packers can concentrate more on the passing game. But the kicker, it's in a dome and on astro-turf. Let's hope the dome demons can be exercised before sunday. | ||

Rhodes is a good backup, so James missing the game wouldn't probably change too much. ATL, BALT, PHIL, KC, PITT, MINN, CLE, NO, TENN, SD, GB, SEA, OAK, DALL |

| It really doesn't matter how well they match up to the colts. They're playing in a dome on turf. I go by those stats. However, they just came off a really bad loss, so maybe they'll put on a show, sometimes it's hard to tell. Did anyone know William Henderson did not start against the Bears? :( | ||

Well, the Packers and Vikes returned the same olines as last year, and the Vikes lead the league in Rushing...so there :) No, but really the rosenthal/kliensasser season ending injuries makes that side of the line a hurting unit. So to sum up wehave 3 guys gone for the year, we're out our #1 and 2 backs our 3rd guy is going to be suspened and we're down to our 3rd string TE....but yeah Grady Jackson is a big loss. ;) |

| Grady Jackson is a HUGE loss, so Jeremy obviously doesn't even know what he's talking about. Not that that's unusual. Teams are running all over us. Well, at least the Bears did, but I'm sure the Colts are going to. | ||

| seriously, what a game, can't complain about the offense in this game, and the defense is banged up, but it shouldn't have been that bad. One mistake was all it took by either team. | ||

| The Bears' defense was all out and their QB had to leave in the 4th quarter, and yet the Vikings still only won by 5 points. Am I impressed? Not exactly. | ||

Bears 22 @ Vikings 27
Jeremy: Chicago wont pull 2 out of their ass in a row. Last week was ugly, but other teams should be worried that the vikes were a penalty and 4 inches from 21 more points and the eagles were 2 penalties and a blown call from 21 less points. Cause it was still close and the eagles are as good as it gets. If the Vikes can get out of this one without losing 3 guys for the year it will be an improvement.Matt: Vikings win 28 - 9. Daunte Culpepper and Johan Santana for MVP!!!
Jon: Daunte Culpepper had a "bad" game in the sense that he didn't dominate last week. He still played very well considering he had to shake off about three eagles defenders on every play. Look for Daunte to remind everyone how he's going to win MVP honors this year.
Sarah: Well well. Minnesota gets a break. Like half of Chicago's team is out for this game. Lucky jerks. Oh yea, by the way, I'm being sarcastic. I don't get Viking fans. They have to try and make other people feel bad about their own teams. Well guess what, it doesn't work with this Packer fan. Do I think Chicago is going to pull an upset win like what they did to the Packers? No, 'fraid not. I do think it's kind of pathetic that Lovie Smith's number one goal was to beat the Packers. Now the Bears can be content with their season. Even if they end up 1-15. But I guess when you've only won 4 of the last 24 games against a team it'll get to you, but to people like me, the Chicago rivalry isn't that big of a deal.
