Moon Over Andromeda

This isn't new or anything, I just remembered it and thought I should share. This is what the Andromeda Galaxy would look like to us if our eyes could "gather" light like a telescope. The moon is included as a size reference for how much of the sky it really takes up.

I know we would get used to it eventually, but if this were all of a sudden really visible in the night sky like that I don't know how you wouldn't just crumble to your knees weeping every time you saw it.
