Turns out the big upset that started Brady's career may have been aided by the same thing that cost the Patriots their 1st round draft pick in this next draft.

I say the Patriots are actually a sucky team and should have all their Super Bowl wins/regular wins/rings taken back. Brady is actually maybe like the 100th best QB in history if that. From the article: Told of the newest allegation, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told The Associated Press on Saturday: "We were aware of the rumor months ago and looked into it. There was no evidence of it on the tapes or in the notes produced by the Patriots, and the Patriots told us it was not true." I bring this up partially to slow us all down before we assume we know the Patriots cheated. The NFL has looked into it. But I also think it's funny that the justification on why we should believe it's nothing is that there wasn't any evidence in the tapes or notes "produced by the Patriots" and also, the Patriots said it's not true. So, they didn't voluntarily give you evidence and they denied it? I'm going to give the NFL the benefit of the doubt for now that there was some sort of actual further investigation, or that they have some sort of reason to believe the Patriots didn't hold back or destroy other evidence there could have been. But I think that part needs to be explained. If they don't explain it (and maybe they have already, I haven't been particularly attentive) then I have to call "foul" on their so called investigation at least. Whether the taping happened or not, they have to give us some further explanation as to why we need to believe the Patriots, if that's even what they are asserting. I think the whole congressional thing is not only a major overstep of the government's authority, it's also kind of embarrassing. But, even though the benefits won't justify the committee's actions, we might at least get some understanding of what is actually going on in this thing if the hearing ever happens. Those tapes would've been, what 6 years old? Why would they still have them around? Maybe for parties? Like when supposedly some people bring out old vacation tapes, they would bring out their Rams Pre-Super Bowl walk through tape and reminisce about how they were able to create 3 turnovers by choosing the exact defensive plays to run against greatest show on turf's offense? The Patriots were caught cheating in week 1 vs the Jets. Don't you think they should have had to forfit that game and have one loss right now?
