Good. Did you see that play? A ref basically rendered a player completely helpless. Had Barnett reacted as if he thought it was a player, he most definitely would have been suspended.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.

I could do the research, but I don't feel like it so I'll just comment on what I thought. When I saw the amount of the game check, it reminded me about how people used to (within the last decade) complain that football refs had to have other jobs and this wasn't right because it takes their focus away and doesn't give them training time to be better refs. So, did they end up changing the salaries? I mean, it's not huge money, but if I got an 8,000 dollar check 10-17 times a year for working once a week, I wouldn't be complaining about how they were forcing me to have a second job.
