My worst nightmare.
Coming home one day and hearing my wife say "Honey, I talked to your son's teacher today and he said little Johnny had a bright future in soccer".View External Link [en.wikipedia.org]

What's wrong with soccer? The US Gold Cup game replay last night was way more exciting than the NBA Finals. |

No kidding, not to mention WORST NIGHTMARE? please. "Honey, I talked to your son's counceler today. When he asked little Johnny what he wanted to be when he grew up he said 'a transvestite serial killer.' When he asked Johnny how he would make a living doing that he replied 'Oh, I think you know,' then took a crap in the middle of the room and skipped merrily out of the room and down the hall pushing kindergarten girls into their lockers." |

This once again warrants my favorite Sports Night quote of all time: "We'll bring you the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and because we've got soccer highlights, the sheer pointlessness of a zero-zero tie." |

What's wrong with a tie? Most things in life aren't as black and white as win or lose, so why does every game in sports have to be? |

Ties aren't the worst thing ever, a ZERO-ZERO tie is another thing all together. |

I was a soccer fan until 4th grade. Then it became a tedious sport. |

There can be a winner and a loser in a tie as well. |

soccer is popular everywhere but here (the US). That means everyone else is wrong (duh) No, I personally just don't like soccer as much as baseball or football (american). Neither do most Americans. Edit- like statements above, however, it is 200% better than basketball(sucks unless it is lithuania) |

It [Soccer] could be like what Micah used to say about Beck. You might THINK you like it, but in reality, you don't. |

I wasn't necessarily making a judgment call of my own. |

Craig is a soccer enthusiast, infrequent 'nutcanner', and computer super-genius. He enjoys long moon lit walks, romantic dinners, and quiet time with that someone special. He also posts about himself in the third person. |
