I thought it was at 1:00 and I figured out that it was at 11:00 eastern time at 11:00, so I got to the game late. Fairly good game, Wisconsin just couldn't get into the endzone in the 2nd half despite outplaying the Vols for the entire NFL. |

I once read a blog post on how a quick way to convert from military time for the pm hours is to subtract 2 and then subtract 10. It was 3 paragraphs long and accompanied by many many comments letting the person know how cool that was to figure out, only a few were sarcastic. I mean I get that the combination of subtracting 2 and 10 is perhaps easier than subtracting 12 for some people, but it seemed as if it actually came as, and appeared to others as, a revelation that x - 2 - 10 == x - 12. |

I'm assuming the game was on the Big 10 channel that I don't get, but Bucky is now 1-0 in conference. Leuer scored half as many points as he did combined in the first 11 games, including 5-5 on 3s for a season line of 9-10. People that are boggled by simple math boggle me. Boggle boggle boggle. That was fun. |

I learned military time it was basically mandatory in elementary school (on a military base). I learned my own way, just drop two, ignore the 1. Try it: 1900 2130 235959 0000 |

Uh...in your dreams maybe (and mine too). ESPN has had them at 3 for a while now. There's no way they get a #1. Memphis and UCLA already won their tournaments, and Tennessee and NC are in their championship games. Wisconsin isn't passing any of those teams. Bracketology's #2s have been Duke, Kansas, Texas, and Georgetown for like a week or two. Kansas and Texas are both in the Big 12 championship, and Wisconsin probably isn't passing the loser of that game either (maybe Texas since they lost twice at home to Big Ten teams, but before today their RPI was 5 and SOS was 7 and losing to Kansas won't hurt either of those numbers). That leaves Duke, who beat Wisconsin and also has high RPI and SOS but did lose today, and Georgetown who is down 5 with 15 to go to Pitt. Wisconsin's best chance is probably for them to lose and swap spots with Georgetown unless they've already hopped over Duke. Even still they might stay at the #3 in the Midwest so that they can play in Omaha on the first weekend and if they win they would get to go to Detroit for the second weekend. |

No way, they are #6 going into today. They will be a two seed guaranteed. If they aren't I'll donate twenty-bucks to the "can." How bout you? You guys are so toast in bracket league. Also, Tennessee lost today, plus they suck. No one on earth would want a #3 instead of a #2. Number threes actually, have a below .500 record in the last 20 years. Not that it matters, Bucky is a #2. Bucky brings fans .... anywhere. NCAA likes fans. EDIT: Everyone on the planet knows the Badgers can lock down anyone. Two. Duke will be #2 in the East. GU gets the shaft and the #3. |

I just realized Tennessee lost, but I still don't think Wisconsin passes them. Tenn was 1 in RPI and SOS before that loss by 1 point. #6 in one poll, #8 in the other. The tourney is not like football bowl season, fan travel does not factor into matchup deciding at all. But they do try to give top seeds less travel distance. I think the 1-3 seeds are going to dominate this year. I think if Georgetown loses Wisconsin gets a 2, otherwise a 3. And that possibility is looking good at the moment. |
