Here's the official 2008 Olympics thread.

I only have NBC, but I have been watching about as much of the Olympics as I can. If anyone has watched any of the swimming, Michael Phelps has put on a pretty good show. The 4x100 mens freestyle was pretty exciting. You can watch it here. This was one of the most exciting things I've seen in a while. The announcers were just going crazy over the last 25 meters.

I try to watch every event. When I watched that one I literally jumped off the couch and yelled. That was an amazing thing. Even better that the French were talking smack, the look on their faces was priceless. I can't wait for track and field.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.

Until China cleans up their humanitarian record, and until they actually put the little girls that actually sing the songs on the stage, they will have their city's name spelled wrong and they will like it. Also, for the record, I was actually pretty excited seeing President Bush in the stands at a number of the events. I wouldn't mind having my president in the stands cheering me on. Who is my president? I'm an American, aren't I? Who is your president? Michael Phelps should not be called "the greatest olympian of all time". He competes in a sport that has many different medal events. It's not really fair to someone who plays basketball or soccer, or any other sport. Michael Jordan. "Most decorated olympian of all time" is better. Michael Jordan ~~one~~ won two gold medals, but I would say that he was as dominate at his sport as Phelps is at his.
