Sarah and I went out for her sister Becky's birthday to Famous Dave's. I'll just say this. It was a great night to be a carnivore.

Famous Dave's is great. I got the All-American Meal once with a group of 3 other people. They brought like 10 pounds of meat out on garbage can covers. That's always a good time!!!

Sarah and I went shopping there when I was house sitting. I wasn't impressed. They had a big sale on 24 packs except their sale price was about what other places charge any day of the week. Although Sarah and I were novice grocery shoppers we were fairly certain that almost everything we got was cheaper at other places. Add that to the fact that you have to drive to the back the get to the "front" and I don't think I'll be back often.

Famous Dave's on the other hand not only got itself into my usual repertoire(sp?, ha, its even funnier to do it on correctly spelled words) of eateries it may have replaced every restaurant on the list as the only non fast food place I want to eat at.

The fact that I only eat at Famous Daves a couple times a year adds to the magic and wonderment(is this even a word?) of the place, but that's just my thought.

festival foods ran a sale on Andre last month. 2.79 a bottle! i'm forever grateful to them for helping me make my friends' wedding night one that i will never remember.
