Twins traded Luis Castillo for 2 minor league Mets players. A catcher ?!?!?! and an outfielder. Castillo was a good player, I liked him. He was the only guy who could bunt, and was pretty much a guarantee to get on base. I know he was older, but still. Good Luck Castillo.

I just got back from the game about 15 minutes ago. I don't remember any Castillo "robbing" plays, but he's still fast and reached on a bunt hit at one point. If anyone was robbing it was that Milledge kid diving all over the place in center. The Brewers left a small army of runners on base in the last 5 innings, but finally Jenks sent us home happy. There was a play in like the 5th inning or so when Grafanino hit one towards the hole on the right side and Castillo made a diving stop and threw him out. The thing is, Castillo makes a play like that look almost routine. There was another similar, but not quite as difficult, play earlier in the game on a ball hit more up the middle. I don't know though, Sarah, who is allowed to make/break unilateral plans for an evening during the work week, didn't actually discuss anything with me before she turned you down. What someone needs to make, or yahoo should incorporate into the fantasy site, is a website where everyone can set up rules of when they are/aren't available. (I can't the 24th, Tuesdays are no good, Has to be after 8pm, ect) Then the computer figures out the optimal time to have the draft/event. You wouldn't have gotten home until probably 1230-1, since we went 12 innings. Cuddyer could have made it just 9 innings if he wouldn't have overrun 1st base and got tagged out on a simple single... That and Hafner hitting two dingers... damn. After about the 7th, it thinned out so bad Lowy and I were able to sneak all the way down to the first row behind the dugout section- it was so close I dared not heckle for fear of getting pounded by an errant bat. Damned Hafner. Atleast we got to see Lofton in action. Mauer came in with a full count, two outs, bases loaded PH, only to take an evil swing for nothing. Good game, in all, but a loss is a loss.
