We might actually make a huge off season deal this year! (Maybe two if we get Moss) We offered Kansas City our 1st round and 4th round draft pick for L.J. The Pack could certainly use the second best running back in the league.

What incentive do the Chiefs have to do this deal?

Obviously, this kind of response is expected 2 days before the draft

I'd be a little concerned with his recent workload, but otherwise that sounds like a good idea.

Micah, I rated your comment a 2 because I penalized you for not creating an actual link. Hyperlink? Hotlink? Information Superhighway?

You're better than that Micah. I know you know html!!
You're giving east coast readership a bad name!

This is not a copy and paste world!

Of course, it was still many times more useful than Sarah's actual post, seeing as that contained no reference to any site or even a mention of where that supposed information came from. I mean, I'm not looking for a bibliography page Sarah, I'm just wondering if the Packers talked directly to you or if you actually brokered the deal or something else.

Bustin' Chops!

I am going to agree with Young. The Packers hate B. Favre. Look at all of our 1st round draft picks in the past few years, none have been to help Favre. Hawk, A-Rod, Carroll, Barnett, J-Walk (who was good for 1 year), and Reynolds. And it's not like our defense has improved because of a lot of these picks. I wish we wouldn't build our team around the draft and instead we'd actually trade for some established players. This DT had better pan out. And our defense had better score like 20 TDs this year to make up for the fact that we lost half our offense this past year!

Hey, Hawk, Barnett, and Walker were good picks. Walker got hurt and then got pissed, and Hawk and Barnett will probably be part of GB's defense for quite a while, which is a good thing. They have indeed had trouble finding offensive help, but Gregg Jennings might prove to be a pretty decent draft choice.

I hope this DT is good, because they passed on Brady Quinn.

But Hawk and Barnett were 1st round defensive picks. Of the last 6 years, 1 first round pick was used to help Favre. IF we would've drafted Quinn, we would've lost our TV and my laptop, because I would've proceeded to throw said laptop into said tv.

Yeah you definitely don't want a franchise QB 13 spots lower than expected. But then again, what do I know? I'm a Lions fan. BOO-YAH Wide Receiver baby!!!!!!!!!

I just didn't want us drafting another QB in the 1st round to ride the bench, come in for a quarter, then break a foot.

No you can't, although I'm kind of torn between whether I'm pissed they passed on trading up to get Quinn. One the one hand, I think its a no-brainer. But considering Cleveland had to give up next years first-rounder, and considering for the Lions that is almost a guaranteed Top-10 pick, I'm not so sure.
