Go ahead. There can be twice as many people as there are, at least.

Not to mention once they see all the wonder that is nutcan.com they can't help but be hooked.

On the play where Oden fouled out, it appeared to me that he just shoved the Xavier player down and should have gotten an intentional/flagrant foul for it. Now it wasn't the greatest angle and I wasn't exactly right up next to my TV, so it could have been that it just looked worse to me then it actually was, and that it was a good job by the refs. Many of the fans in the arena (and the Xavier bench), however, seemed to feel that the shove deserved more than a regular foul also.

So what does CBS do? They replay the missed shot/rebound that led to the Oden foul, but the angle for the foul was worse than the live view, and the announcers don't even mention anything about how the foul looked bad, or that the crowd wanted a flagrant, or maybe that it looked worse live than it really was.

Now again, to me it looked like it could have been a Flagrant foul (and the crowd reaction suggests I'm not alone), but I'm open to the possibility that it wasn't as bad as it looked. But even if this was so, for CBS not to even mention anything about this or replay it so we can see for sure what happened, is just ridiculous.

If they did call an intentional/flagrant foul on Oden, Xavier would have had a much better chance of icing the game as they would have either gotten the ball back after the foul shots, or got the two foul shots plus one additional foul shot for the flagrant (I'm not quite sure of the rules regarding this).

The word "That's intentional" came immediately out of my mouth when I saw that play, so you are not alone. It was a shove with both arms up and the guy went flying. I'm almost always against things like flagrant fouls, roughing the quarterback, etc, etc., but that looked pretty brutal, especially coming from a monster like Oden.

That said, maybe if players could hit free throws anymore, it wouldn't matter. The NCAA needs more Steve Alfords running around.

Intentional fouls are the dumbest rule ever. At a minimum they should be renamed, I think they should be scratched from the rule book all together. And that did not deserve a flagrant foul. Those should be reserved for when someone makes an exceedingly dangerous play or tries to inflict physical damage.

It seems like the more possibly controversial a play is the less they will actually give you the replay. I'm almost willing to bet that the announcers and crew are instructed to leave controversial plays alone so they don't end up getting in trouble with the NCAA. At least it sure seems that way sometimes.

So Frank is the leader after day 3 with a 4-way tie for 2nd. Or was the leader until Virginia won, now seed and Ale-oops are on top. Ok, that was my wishful thinking, stupid Tennessee held on to win. That hurts, Virginia was my dark horse Final Four team.

I think we should declare 2 winners at the end, one with the Yahoo scoring and one for the most total games predicted correctly. Because picking every game correctly in the first round gets you as many point as picking the champion, even though the odds are astromonically worse of picking a perfect first round.

WE were winning that game 14-0 or 17-0. Tripped up a 4th and 1....(right, is that the game?) and the 4th and 26 was just to get the FG to tie it up. We then had to have Favre throw up a Hail what the frick to lose the game.
