People really called the police about this? And the police really took the time to investigate it!? Am I the only one who thinks this was a colossal waste of time and resources? If I lived in Richmond I'd be asking for a tax refund right now.

Yeah I read about that a couple days ago, it's really insane. I could threaten to kill you right now, should the police come to my house? I can't even imagine the amount of threats people make on the internet on a daily basis.

It's funny though, watching the Simpsons commentary they mentioned one time that Homer strangles Bart all the time (and that they even themselves acknowledged it as child abuse ) However, they get very few complaints about it. In one episode Homer strangles Santa's Little Helper (the dog) and they were buried in complaints about how sadistically inhumane it was to do that to a dog.
