How about that FSU-Duke game? Good stuff. Big game tonight for Wisconsin. Michigan State is on a bit of slide, having lost 4 of 5. I'd enjoy it if they lost home games to Wisconsin and Illinois to end up with a sub .500 conference record. I'd enjoy it almost as much as watching Duke's perfect conference record get taken away from them by FSU.

How about Syracuse? That was rather unexpected. Looks like there are some good games on, I better go watch them. If Ohio State wins they should be a #1 seed, but I think the committee decides before the game gets over, which never made much sense to me.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.

Two more wrong for me. Some chump from Alabama hits 8 out of 11 3s in a win against Marquette, and the overseeded #12 Montana beats the overseeded #5 Nevada. Suddenly Syracuse's best player gets injured to the point of not being able to score a point. I didn't have them going to the finals like I did last year, but I did have them winning two games. They're not quite dead to me, but I'm not speaking to them for a while. Also, I thought Marquette's clock management was a bit lacking. I personally think that when you're losing, even if it's just a point, you shouldn't waste time. Some coaches like to take time and not just end up trading baskets, but I think that's a problem you can worry about after you've scored. Get the lead first. By the way, in the yahoo pool, "baseline" is a bracket that is based completely on the top seed winning every game. I wanted to see how everyone fared against that method. I felt bad for Gerry. That was a tough way to end a tough year for him. After that amazing of a run in the Big East tournament I thought the Orange wouldn't have much left in them besides a first round win, but the couldn't even pull that off. Novak should've hit that wide open 3 pointer from the corner, even if he did just hit 2 in a row before that to even make a game of it.		Rate this comment Yours: Rated 0 times.

The Badgers got smoked. The 1st half was bad enough, but after closing to 12 at the half I was really disappointed in the second half. Still I wasn't expecting much from this team to start the year, so on the whole I think they did well. If they can get Landy and Steimsma back next year and then only lose Nixon, they should be a much better team. Like Iowa loses, honestly what's up with that? If Brunner would have made his stupid 2nd free throw it only would've been tied. Now my dreams of an all Big Ten Final Four must be put on hold for another year.
