Blog posting

I subscribe to a windows xp newsletter that has tips and stuff and then usually a more editorial part. The topic this week was blogs and online information in general. It seems there are a growing number of cases of people being fired or not hired or disciplined for things they have blogged or posted on the Internet. Which made me stop and think for a minute about my recent blogging activity on Yahoo! 360 and Myspace as well as my Page3 activity. I don't think I've posted anything yet that I would need to regret, but I thought I'd leave a reminder for everyone that anything that gets on the net is viewable by anyone, and also as the article pointed out, content can stick around for years whether it be cached on servers, saved on someone's hard drive, or printed out by someone. So watch what you say. And if you're ever bored google your name or your screennames just to see what all pops up.
