I think I should get credit for this article, since I found it on our arch-enemy's website, Page 2. So there, but yea, our man the sponge is getting some recognition! WOOT WOOT:)~ Go Twins! Who feels like going to a game in the near future? Although, before you know it, it'll be bobblehead day. |

| Brewers pitcher Ben Sheets struck out 18 Braves today. He set a Brewers record and struck out the most since Randy Johnson struck out 20 in 2001. The Brewers now have a batting title candidate with Lyle Overbay 3rd or 4th in the league in batting, and a Cy Young Candidate with sheets. Also, Scott Podsednik is running away with every base he can see. I've been waiting a long time for a winning season and with the team the Brewers have this year, it is more possible than ever. |

My roommate, who is from the greater Milwaukee area, was driving from his home to Eau Claire on Sunday. He and his friend decided to hit the Brewers game on the way and got to witness the 18 strikeout game by Sheets. Of course, what's really impressive is the fact that Roger Clemens struck out 20 batters 18 years ago, then did it again just 8 years ago. And on Sunday he pitched 7 shutout innings and struck out 10 and allowed 2 hits. He's in his 21st year of pitching and has had a total of just two seasons with more losses than wins. |
